Accepting Political Reality... Obama is Doing What He Promised...

Well, I did not really expect different... but I hoped. I still pray. But, the things that have been driving me crazy about the Obama administration and which seem so awful to me are exactly what he said he would do.

Obama promised to make restoring relationships in the Middle East a top priority. He is. His first phone call to a foreign leader was not Britain, or Canada, or Israel but Palestine. His first tv interview was not here in the US, or in Britain, or in Australia, but on Arabic television. He is doing exactly what he said he would do. I am dismayed but should not have been surprised.

Obama promised to make a woman's right to choose a priority. He has still not signed FOCA into law because Congress has not yet passed it... but he has issued the executive order restoring the US giving of millions of dollars to foreign countries to fund abortions. On the anniversary of Roe v Wade, when 300,000 marched on Washington in protest, when Bush would have given a message of life to the marchers, Pres. Obama gave a message celebrating the anniversary of death. 50 million babies killed. He wants more. He said he would. I believed him.

Obama said he would scale back our military. He has already announced a 10% cutback. More likely to come.

Obama said he would close Guantanemo.. and he has already signed that into being.

He said health care would be a top priority... and despite the massive budget deficit and the slow economy.. that is clearly a top priority. He is working the the Congress to get the bill passed to massively increase the size of our government to provide national health care and in his "stimulus" package there is a huge increase for health care for children already.

I am looking forward with dread at the other promises he will keep.

I will continue to fight the good fight... here in the physical realm through spreading the news here, and writing, emailing, and calling my Congressmen about these important issues, and in the spiritual realm through praying to our Almighty God and Father that His will be done... that Obama's eyes would be opened. That the babies and Israel be protected. That America would turn back to the Lord, repenting.
