The Time to Fight Is Now

I have said in recent posts that we must not sleep... we can not just watch and wait. Sometimes it feels as though there is nothing we CAN do. And in some ways there is little we can do as a single individual. But if ALL believers would act the force would be powerful.

Americans United for Life has begun a petition to fight FOCA. What is FOCA? The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) would remove EVERY restriction on abortion nationwide. It will compel taxpayer funding of abortions. FOCA will do away with state laws on parental involvement, on partial birth abortion, and on all other protections. FOCA will FORCE faith-based hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform abortions.

And Obama has promised to make this his first priority.



According to Gallup Polls over 50% of Americans consistently choose the option describing abortion as manslaughter... and even larger majority favors limits on abortion. Obama is NOT in the majority. This petition already has well over 100,000 signatures. If we all sign and get the word out we could have untold MILLIONS of signatures. Add the link on your blog. Speak out online, in your neighborhood, and your church. Act. The time to fight FOCA is NOW.
