This is a piece I "painted" using the free computer graphics program called gimp. Someday I hope to get a draw pad for my computer to make it easier.... right now I am just using a mouse or more often the mouse touchpad on my laptop.. and zooming in a lot to do any detailing. Even so, I am getting better at having it do what I want it to.
And I am enjoying it. I have not done much art since having kids.. the mess and the time are limiters. The advantage to this is I can save whenever I need to.. and there is no mess at all.

I recently purchased a Wacom Bamboo Fun pen tablet. I LOVE it!!
So beautiful. It is amazing what you can with a computer now. My brother is a graphic designer for a magazine corp and does things that just blow my mind. FUN.
