Thanking God for all who served

This weekend I am once again reminded of the sacrifices made so that men could live free! This weekend join me in praising God for the men who He raised up to serve. This weekend take the time to thank a veteran or a serviceman or woman. This weekend be in prayer for the safety of those who are in harm's way and for their families on the homefront.

Most especially this Memorial Day remember those who have fallen in service to our country. It is what the day is for. Yes... we have picnics and bbqs and a day off... but this day off is so that we could remember and honor those who paid the ultimate price. So take a moment or two to do so.
