The Destruction of Choice in DC... Thanks to Obama

As a homeschooler, you may think this is not a topic of interest to me.. but far from it. I am a passionate supporter of choice. I used to be a public school teacher.. and my husband is one now... and I believe that our future in large part depends on the education of our youth. Not everyone can choose homeschooling. Not everyone can afford a good private school. Private schools in general cost far less per pupil than our failing public schools. Vouchers WORK.

So, WHY does Obama and democrats fight it? I believe this is because of the Teachers unions, in large part. What is the priority of Obama in education? If it is education... and offering opportunity for a future and success then the vouchers should be continued. If the goal is to keep inner city kids uneducated to perpetuate poverty and dependence on the government.. then their choice to end vouchers makes sense.
