This Year's Deficit is a Cost of $5,833 for each man, woman, and child in America

New numbers say that the projected deficit for THIS YEAR ALONE is $1.75 trillion dollars. That is $5833 per each person in the US to pay it off. The burden for our family is over $23,000!!!! Wow. I know we are not getting $23,000 worth of benefits from the government this year. Are you? We certainly could not hope to pay our share of the taxes. And frankly if Obama is only going to have businesses and the rich pay... and 95% NOT pay.. their share will kill the economy too. The truth is he won't have them pay either.. not all of it. It will just go onto the tab for our children.

The total cost for this year's budget is even higher of course.. that is just the deficit. The cost of this year's budget is $11,833 per person in the US... and for our family of $47,332. That is more than we earn!!!!!

There is only one sensible way to handle this. STOP THE SPENDING!!!!!

Tomorrow I will go to a Tea Party Protest in St. Louis. I believe that the out of control spending is selling our children's future.

Some in the conservative media have named the stimulus package the "generational theft act of 2009" and I am finding myself agreeing. It is the ultimate in taxation without representation because our children did not choose this spending that they will have to pay for. And I am outraged.
