The scriptures are clear on the matter. Children are a blessing from God, but this is a truth that I think every parent should know with or without God's Word. My children are my greatest blessings.
But, Barack Obama seems to have a different view on the matter.
“I’ve got two daughters, 9 years old and 6 years old. I’m going to teach them first of all about values and morals but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16, you know.” Barack Obama, March 29, 2008
As one of the most liberal supporters of abortion through all 9 months and even of live birth and partial birth abortions, this is not surprising. This factual knowledge does not make the statement any less horrifying.
As for me, I choose life.
"This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." Deut. 30:19
"Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him." Psalm 127:3
