Thankful Thursday

As we look to the greatest gift of all, the baby within the manger... this week we have in our household also been celebrating the births of two very dear members of my family, my husband and my son. So this week, I truly have much to be thankful for.

Heavenly Father,

I praise you for your Love, which came to down from Heaven as a gift for all.

I praise you for your Glory, which manifested itself on Earth in the humble manger.

I praise you for your Holiness, that calls us to holiness.

I praise you for your Light, that you lead the way out of darkness.

I praise you for your Sacrifice, the gift of Redemption, offered freely on the cross.

And Lord, I praise you for the blessings you pour out so freely on my life..
~my husband who protects, and comforts, and provides; who leads, loves, and serves
~and my children, who so richly bless me with the gift of unconditional love, laughter, hugs, and joy.

Through the love of my family I can begin to taste the glories of your love.
