I know with the election, it has been all too easy for me to get caught up in the cares of this world. To experience fear or anxiety. To think about the material concerns. As a conservative christian, who abhors abortion, it would be easy to feel as though God has been missing in the process... but I know this is NOT TRUE. God has not left us nor forsaken us. His Plans will be fulfilled. I may not have the earthly leader I would have chosen, but I do have a Heavenly King who remains on the eternal throne and who cares about us... and who asks us to keep our eyes on Him and on the eternal perspective. So I will say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
